Here's to wishing everyone a great year ahead in the new year of the doggie.
Why the title?
The general color of this deviation, is pink. Thus the sweetness. Sour, because it shows that I still have lots more to learn to create a better artwork
A little about this deviation
Chinese New Year is around the corner, and being the jerk I am for not wishing you guys a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year earlier, I decided to come up with this. I really really beg for your forgiveness for not commenting on your artworks, or replying your messages, or starting on our collab/gift art (yeah you know who you are) T^T Not like one deviation can really make up for anything, but please accept this as an apology >x<
If you're wondering what that doggie is doing over there, according to chinese and japanese believe respectively, every year has an animal zodiac out of the 12 zodiac animals representing it. And...it's the year of the Dog this year~!!
What I like and don't like
I like...The background. It took me a frigging day to figure out how to make it. O hail photoshop brushes~!!
What i hated was, the dress she's wearing. I had difficulty figuring out how to design patterns on that chinese dress, how to colour it, how to shade it and so on. Silly me for not realising the wonders of Photoshop editing earlier.
